Operations Supervisor at Staples

As an Operations Supervisor, known as a Merchandise and Inventory Supervisor at Staples, I oversee the store to ensure tasks and projects run smoothly and efficiently. I'm responsible for managing a team, which means I lead, coach, and motivate them to provide excellent customer service and meet our sales goals. I handle assigning tasks, organizing the sales floor, and ensuring that everyone knows their responsibilities.

One of my key duties is to maintain optimal stock levels. I coordinate with my general manager and sales manager to monitor and manage stock, ensuring we have the products available for our customers. This involves receiving, storing, and organizing of merchandise. I also manage the store's logistics, which includes processing incoming and outgoing shipments to stocking the sales floor and overstock.

As a supervisor, I am tasked with upholding store policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards. This includes health and safety regulations, loss prevention strategies, and customer service protocols. If any issues arise, whether it's a customer complaint or an operational hiccup, I am one of the go-to people for resolving issues and finding solutions.

Crew Lead at Dunkin'

As a Crew Captain at Dunkin', I was responsible for leading and motivating a team of employees to deliver excellent customer service and high-quality products. I worked closely with the store managers to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit targets, while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. I was also responsible for training and supervising team members, as well as overseeing daily operations such as inventory management and scheduling. Additionally, I would've been responsible for handling customer complaints and resolving any issues that may arise. Overall, my role was crucial in ensuring that the store runs smoothly and that customers have a positive experience at Dunkin'.
